Mental Health Shared Care Program

The program provides a free clinical service that focuses on people with low prevalence, severe and complex disorders. This includes people who have been diagnosed with or are at risk of developing disorders such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety and Personality Disorders. The aim of the program is to assist GP's to manage their patient's mental health concerns, to help them function effectively in the community and reduce the need for hospitalisation.

Mental Health Shared Care clinicians are experienced allied health professionals (Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses) who are able to see clients who reside in CBD, eastern, western and southern suburbs postcodes, on-site at GP partners Australia, 43 Greenhill Rd Wayville, 64b Woodville Rd Woodville and 938 South Rd Edwardstown.
